It's Sunday morning and Veronica and I are putting the final pieces together. At 9am, we will hold our first meeting at Resort of Lake Selmac in Selma, Oregon. We've been praying and preparing for a few years now, and the moment is finally here.
I'm nervous. Does it show?
We handed out flyers and met some very nice people and a handful of the folks decided to join us. Even our friends, Phillip and Tina, drove over. So cool.
I welcomed everyone and introduced ourselves and opened with a prayer. Veronica then led us through 3 songs which was very special. A Christian camper couple joined us. Miss Kitty is working on her book and her husband JD, a pastor, sang a song he had written. Such a treat.
After the worship time, I gave a message on "Eternal Life" as asked by the rich, young ruler in Luke 18:18-30. Following the message, we opened it up for discussion and I was very pleased with the insignt and openness of the participants. There as a pleasing and joyful spirit in the camp.
Thank you Phillip and Tina for your love and support.

Sounds like your first experience was an awesome one. Keep up the great work you do!
